Leith Swimming Club:
The club was founded in 1879, giving us the honour of being the oldest swimming club in Edinburgh. We have more than 125 years of success behind us with our swimmers competing at the highest levels during this time up to the current day. We hold and take part in regular galas, cup competitions and compete in the East District Championships.

Leith Victoria Swim Centre is a Victorian 25 yard swimming pool which underwent a makeover in October 2006. Following some maintenance and refurbishment this old building has witnessed a new lease of life.

The gym has recently had new equipment installed ensuring that Leith Victoria remains a first class leisure facility.

Leith Waterword:

This is the City's largest leisure pool where you and your family can venture onto the Flumes or Float through the River run, dodge the Water Cannons or play in the Waterfalls, feel the surf in the wave machine and, if that's all too much relax in the Lagoons or Spa pool.

You will also find The Island and a Multi Sensory Play Area both designed to be mentally and physically stimulating as well as being loads of fun with a tempting ball pool.

Guidelines for Swimming at Leith Waterworld

From nine years old a child can enter Leith Waterworld unaccompanied.

There must be at least one adult in the water supervising one child of four years and under at Leith Waterworld.

There must be at least one adult in the water supervising two children between five and eight years at Leith Waterworld.

Remember - Leith Waterworld is open 7 days a week during the school holidays!
